When you open a session, could you start SpellCatcher after Deskovery.
Also try to register Deskovery without having SpellCatcher started.

1:/ 10.6 only support, Apple dropped Spaces in 10.7 (replace by mission control)

2: / are you sure you've unchecked the right option in System preferences?, I cannot reproduce the issue.

Deskovery 1.5.2 will not minimize to to Titlebar on Double Click or by using a hotkey shortcut. Currently using the trial with a Black Macbook - Late 2006, 2.0 Ghz, 2GB RAM and Mac OS X v. 10.7.3. If you can't fix this, I will not be buying the product. If you can make it work consistently, I will. Any suggestions?

I am having the same trouble as brummbar9. Deskovery launches, but after the trial version warning splash screen, it stops responding. It refuses to open the Preferences (or any other window) so that I can enter my registration code.

Spaces exists in Lion for sure -- I am using it. It is not accessible from Deskovery.

I did solve my problem with 2 I think.

On my MacPro 10.6.8, Deskovery shows the “You are using a trial version” splash screen but crashes before allowing me to enter my purchase info from MacUpdate Promo. Deskovery currently crashes on every launch. Is there a way to send you my system info for troubleshooting?

Spaces are only for snow leopard. Apple replaced them by mission control under Lion.

Try to uncheck "minimize to dock on titlebar double-click" in appearance section of system preferences

Deskovery was advertised to be able to use a 3d effect for Spaces. Does this work only in Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard?). I have 10.7.2 and it does not seem to work. Is this a known issue?
Also, cannot double click on menus of programs to reduce to menu bar, only reduces to dock even after following support documents to change setting in System Preferences and Deskovery preferences, still a known issue?

I am trying out this product. Two problems:

1) I cannot get the spaces to work. I have the app in the dock, but it does not display the spaces.
2) I cannot get the windows to display.

There is really no manual or README text, so it is not clear if I am doing the right things.

I'm still having Deskovery 1.5.1 crash once a day - unexpectedly quit. Twice this morning when simply changing the name of a file in the Finder. Any progress on this and the other discussed bugs?

Doesn't have to be updated... when minimized. I imagine you'd still be able to see only the collapsed window but with a width of only the title + space for the apples flashers etc.

The ultimate solution would be a minimize to a - just below the menu - window bar kind of thing... where you could store your windows - minimized... not updated - just minimized.

Enjoy using Deskovery.... like monkeyboy20 mentioned - sometimes dobbeltclicking different part of app windows (not titlebar) minimizes the window. Indesign for one... but I understand it must be difficult to pull this thing off... since other developers hasn't found a solution yet. Anyway... I can live with that.

Thanks for the idea. This is something feasible but it will be impossible to have real time updated "mini" window contents
